English

The duo of Travis Stewart (Machinedrum) and Praveen Sharma (Braille) incorporate the diverse influences present in their solo work with a crucial sense of emotional sensibility and melodic sensuality, whilst reflecting the electronic sounds which surround them. Washing away the tension of juke’s trademark staccato bass and looping vocals with lush melodies and dubbed out atmospherics, their processed vocals rub up against woodblock beats and relentless basslines, lighting up dancefloors worldwide with their breezy and sophisticated variations of contemporary dance music.

Building on a foundation of solid groove, the pair draw from their expansive musical backgrounds to deliver a genuine emotional sensibility and melodies which evoke sensuality. Backing the infectious top line are compelling and unusual synth textures, tied together by their signature organic wood block hits and jittery bass.
This is honest electronic music with real structure that tugs at the heart whilst inviting you to tap your feet at the same time. For that rare trick, Sepalcure are in a class of their own.

Their second full length album is coming in April 2016.
