Fondée en 2005 par Julien Catala, SUPER! est une agence artistique indépendante à la croisée des métiers : producteur de concerts, de festivals, de tournées, programmateur d’événements, découvreur de talents, agitateur.

SUPER! a organisé les premiers concerts en France de The xx, Sufjan Stevens, James Blake, Mac DeMarco, Wet Leg, Charli XCX, Jungle, Aphex Twin ou encore Mk Gee.

Aujourd’hui, l’agence représente plus de 500 artistes, entre têtes d’affiche internationales (Bon Iver, The Libertines, Four Tet, Caribou…) et nouveaux talents de l’avant-garde musicale (The Dare, Arca, Oklou…).

Producteur de festivals, SUPER! organise depuis 2011 le Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, rendez-vous emblématique des musiques indépendantes, qui a accueilli The 1975, Blood Orange, Thom Yorke ou Darkside. À travers également le Festival des Inrocks, Colors/Tones of Paris, Cabourg Mon Amour (de 2015 à 2020) ou le MIDI Festival, SUPER! contribue à façonner le paysage musical contemporain et à révéler les artistes qui en écrivent l’avenir.

Julien Catala a également cofondé PLAYGROUND LOVE avec Grégory Kowalski, une agence créative collaborant avec Red Bull, Converse, Chanel, Hermès, Spotify,  et à l’origine du concert monumental « TERMINAL 1 », sur le toit de l’aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle avec Air et Phoenix, en juillet 2024, en prélude aux Jeux Olympiques de Paris.

SUPER! et PLAYGROUND LOVE développent ensemble des projets de direction artistique et de programmation musicale avec Les Inrockuptibles, Society, Libération, l’Opéra de Paris et la Fondation Louis Vuitton, et coproduisent plusieurs festivals tels que Boiler Room, Teletech ou So Good.

Depuis 2012, Julien Catala codirige également Le Trabendo aux côtés d’Alexis Bernier et d’Arnaud Le Vot, fondateurs du magazine Tsugi (groupe So Press). Cette salle emblématique du Parc de la Villette est un lieu phare dédié aux musiques émergentes.

Elle a déjà accueilli des artistes tels que Radiohead, The Rolling Stones ou Charli XCX.

En 2018, SUPER! a rejoint le groupe Because, fondé par Emmanuel de Buretel, aux côtés de We Love Green, Peacock Society, Corida et Talent Boutique. Un groupe indépendant qui accompagne les carrières d’artistes tels que Christine and the Queens, Justice, Charlotte Gainsbourg ou Daft Punk.

Défricheur des tendances rock, pop, folk, électroniques et hip-hop, SUPER! incarne un projet artistique fort : radar de l’innovation musicale internationale.

Founded in 2005 by Julien Catala, SUPER! is an independent artistic agency at the crossroads of disciplines : producing concerts, festivals, tours, curating events, discovering new talent, and shaking up the musical landscape.

SUPER! hosted the first-ever French shows of The xx, Sufjan Stevens, James Blake, Mac DeMarco, Wet Leg, Charli XCX, Jungle, Aphex Twin, and Mk Gee, amongst many others.

Today, the agency represents over 500 artists, spanning major international acts (Bon Iver, The Libertines, Four Tet, Caribou…) and rising figures from the global avant-garde (The Dare, Arca, Oklou…).

As a festival producer, SUPER! founded Pitchfork Music Festival Paris in 2011, a landmark event for independent music that has featured The 1975, Blood Orange, Thom Yorke, and Darkside. Through other projects such as Les Inrocks Festival, Colors/Tones of Paris, Cabourg Mon Amour (2015–2020), and MIDI Festival, SUPER! continues to shape the contemporary music landscape and spotlight the artists defining its future.

Julien Catala also co-founded PLAYGROUND LOVE with Grégory Kowalski, a creative agency, collaborating with Red Bull, Converse, Chanel, Hermès, Spotify, and behind the monumental “TERMINAL 1” event — staged on the rooftop of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport featuring Air and Phoenix in July 2024, as a prelude to the Paris Olympic Games.

Together, SUPER! and PLAYGROUND LOVE develop artistic direction and musical programming projects with organisations such as Les Inrockuptibles, Society, Libération, Opera de Paris, and Louis Vuitton Foundation, while co-producing several festivals including Boiler Room, Teletech, and So Good.

Since 2012, Julien Catala has also co-directed Le Trabendo alongside Alexis Bernier and Arnaud Le Vot, founders of Tsugi Magazine (So Press Group).
This iconic Parc de la Villette venue is a cornerstone for emerging music, having hosted artists such as Radiohead, The Rolling Stones, and Charli XCX.
