Grace Cummings
Une « voix bientôt emblématique » (Rolling Stone), Grace Cummings est une musicienne folk contemporaine de Melbourne, en Australie. Son écriture est influencée par les poètes et sommités du XXe siècle, de Joni Mitchell et Bob Dylan à Brett Whitely et Van Gogh, reflétant un lien fort avec le paysage australien.
Au cours de sa carrière, Grace a été invitée à faire les premières parties de Weyes Blood, Evan Dando, J Mascis et les Allah-Lahs à Melbourne. Son premier album ‘Refuge Cove’ est sorti chez Flightless Records, acclamé par la critique de Pitchfork et Allmusic, entre autres. En juillet 2020, Grace a sorti le morceau ‘Sweet Matilda’ dans le cadre de la série de singles vénérée du label indépendant Mexican Summer’s Looking Glass, avant de conclure un contrat mondial avec ATO Records (Alabama Shakes, My Morning Jacket, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard).

Her songwriting is influenced by 20th century poets and luminaries, from Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan to Brett Whitely and Van Gogh, reflecting a strong connection to the Australian landscape.
In her short career, Grace has been invited to support Weyes Blood, Evan Dando, J Mascis and the Allah-Lahs in Melbourne. Her debut album, Refuge Cove, was released through Flightless Records, earning critical acclaim from Pitchfork and Allmusic, amongst others. In July 2020, Grace released the track Sweet Matilda as part of venerated indie label Mexican Summer’s Looking Glass single series, before landing a worldwide deal with ATO Records (Alabama Shakes, My Morning Jacket, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard). Her sophomore album, Storm Queen, will be released on ATO in January 2022
