Giorgio Poi a grandi à Rome, mais sa musique vit dans le monde entier. Un chanteur et auteur-compositeur, musicien et interprète exceptionnel avec une activité live remarquable derrière lui et des collaborations fructueuses avec des artistes de la scène italienne et internationale (comme Phoenix qui a voulu qu’il fasse la première partie de leurs spectacles à New York et Los Angeles en 2018 ou Tame Impala qui l’a choisi comme première partie de leur seul spectacle italien en 2022 à Milan).
Après avoir fait le tour du monde avec son collectif londonien Vadoinmessico, Giorgio décide en 2017 de revenir en Italie pour écrire et chanter dans sa langue maternelle ; son premier album » Fa Niente » sort chez Bomba Dischi / Universal et rencontre un grand succès auprès des critiques et du public. En 2019, il a sorti son deuxième album « Smog » et suite à cela, il a composé la bande originale de la série télévisée Summertime (Netflix) qui a été acclamée.
Giorgio revient sur la scène musicale à l’automne 2021 avec le single « I Pomeriggi », suivi de « Giorni Felici », une chanson inspirée du livre d’homonymes du dessinateur Zuzu, qui a également réalisé la couverture officielle de la chanson. Il sort son troisième album Gommapiuma (Bomba Dischi / Universal Music) en décembre 2021 et effectue avec succès une tournée en Italie durant l’année 2022.
Le 18 mai 2022, le single Haute Saison est publié par Rob & Jack Lahana avec Giorgio Poi et Gordon Tracks, avec une vidéo réalisée par Natalie Portman. Son dernier single, intitulé Ossesso, est sorti le 1er juin 2022.

Giorgio Poi grew up in Rome, but his music lives the world. An exceptional singer and songwriter, musician and performer with an outstanding live activity behind him and fruitful collaborations with artists on the Italian and international scene (such as Phoenix which wanted him to support their shows in New York and Los Angeles in 2018 or Tame Impala which chose him as opening band for their only Italian show in 2022 in Milan).
After touring the world with his London’s based collective Vadoinmessico, in 2017 Giorgio decided to move back to Italy and write and sing in mother language; his first album “Fa Niente” was released by Bomba Dischi / Universal and was a great success of critics and audience. In 2019 he released his second album « Smog » and following to that he composed the original soundtrack to the acclaimed teen TV show Summertime (Netflix).
Giorgio returned to the music scene in the autumn of 2021 with the single « I Pomeriggi », followed by « Giorni Felici », a song inspired by the homonym book of the cartoonist Zuzu, who also curated the song’s official cover. He released his third album Gommapiuma (Bomba Dischi / Universal Music) on December 2021 and toured successfully Italy during 2022.
On May 18th 2022 the single Haute Saison was released by Rob & Jack Lahana featuring Giorgio Poi and Gordon Tracks, with a video directed by Natalie Portman. His last single, called Ossesso, was released on June 1st, 2022.
