L’auteure-compositrice-interprète norvégienne Siv Jakobsen est rapidement devenue une favorite du monde indie-folk avec son premier EP « The Lingering ». Des tournées en tant que première partie de Bear’s Bear’s Den, Benjamin Francis Leftwich et Damien Jurado ont suivi avant que Jakobsen ne tienne vraiment cette promesse avec l’arrivée de son premier album The Nordic Mellow. Cet album de 10 chansons témoigne du lyrisme audacieux et de la capacité vocale étonnante de Siv, transportant l’auditeur dans son monde dès la première note.

Norwegian singer-songwriter Siv Jakobsen quickly became a favourite of the indie-folk world with her first EP ‘The Lingering’. Tours supporting Bear’s Bear’s Den, Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Damien Jurado followed before Jakobsen then truly delivered on that early promise with the arrival of her debut album The Nordic Mellow. The 10-song collection was a testament to Siv’s bold lyricism and stunning vocal ability, transporting the listener into her world from the very first note.
