Productrice, DJ, artiste de performance, multi-instrumentiste, vocaliste, autrice et compositrice, Ouri est l’une des révélations récentes de la scène électronique et bien au-delà pour son talent qui s’exprime dans bien des disciplines. Les dernières années ont été pour elle une période très créative qui l’a vue collaborer, entre autres, avec Helena Deland et Mind Bath, et durant laquelle elle a aussi émergé sur la scène rave montréalaise. En témoigne son passage magique par la Boiler Room en marge de la sortie de son EP We Share Our Blood. Son premier album Frame of a Fauna est une exploration de formes complexes, à travers une musique corporelle, influencée pas les grandes musiques orchestrales, tout en restant résolument électronique, et imprégnée d’abrasions industrielles et de mélodies portées par une voix légère qui s’y glisse avec férocité.

As producer, DJ, performance artist, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, author and composer, Ouri is one of the most exciting revelations of the electronic scene and well beyond, due to her talent in many disciplines. The last few years have been a very creative period for her, which has seen her collaborate with, among others, Helena Deland and Mind Bath, and during which she also emerged on the Montreal rave scene, with an amazing performance at the Boiler Room, on the sidelines of the release of her EP We Share Our Blood. Her first album Frame of a Fauna is an exploration of complex forms, through body music, influenced by great orchestral music, while remaining deeply electronic, and imbued with industrial abrasions and melodies carried by a feather-light voice which slides in with ferocity.
