Quator originaire de Brooklyn, MOTHXR mêle astucieusement ambient pop et post-new soul. Avec Penn Badgley au chant et Jimmy Giannopoulos à la basse et à la production, le groupe a très vite attiré l’attention grâce à leurs titres, dont « easy » leur premier morceau qui s’est classé numéro 1 « hype machine » pendant plusieurs semaines.
Leur premier album Centerfold est sorti en février 2016 !

Four-piece Brooklyn band Mothxr are ready to take over 2016 with their debut album « Centerfold »!
Earlier in 2015 Mothxr stepped into the Kitsuné family and after a year full of exclusive releases, the band is about to reveal all of their secrets with a first LP Centefold!
Traveling with minimal analog recording gear, MOTHXR spent four weeks recording their album between Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. The band recorded five songs in five days on their way to completing an eleven track record coming on February 26th 2016!
