Après la sortie de son mini-album expérimental Lonely City, la saxophoniste, productrice et auteure-compositrice-interprète, Laura Misch, dévoile les dates de sa tournée d’automne.
De plus en plus connue pour ses explorations électroniques fortement influencées par ses deux atouts principaux que sont le saxophone et sa voix, Laura tisse des étoffes de musiques soniques accompagnées de paroles viscérales pour créer de magnifiques productions émotionnelles ancrées dans des rythmes et des paysages sonores expérimentaux.
Laura a sorti son premier album Playground auto-produit en mai 2017, on l’a peut après vue apparaître en direct sur BBC 6 dans une session avec Gilles Peterson, ainsi que sur BBC Radio 1 et Jazz FM. Elle a ensuite dévoilé le single «Lagoon», profond et enveloppant, en février 2018. Parmi ses soutiens on compte aussi Phil Taggart et Jamie Cullum sur BBC Radio 1 & 2. Après une première tournée réussie au Royaume-Uni en février 2018, Laura a présenté son show unique en Europe aux côtés de Tom Misch, avant d’étourdir une salle comble au Royal Albert Hall en avril. L’été dernier, le nom de Laura a figuré dans de nombreuses programmations telles que le festival End Of The Road, Visions, All Points East, Meadows In The Mountains et Oslo Jazz. Elle a ensuite accompagné Khruangbin en octobre 2018 pour leur tournée européenne.
Début 2019, elle s’est produite à Eurosonic Sound City et a réalisé des performances acclamées aux festivals SXSW et The Great Escape, suivis d’une tournée avec Alfa Mist et d’autres festivals au cours de l’été.

She’s an amazing talent. » – Gilles Peterson Following on from the release of her experimental mini-album Lonely City, SE London saxophonist, producer and singer-songwriter Laura Misch unveils the dates for her autumn headline tour. Increasingly known for nomadic electronic explorations strongly threaded by her two main voices of saxophone and vocals, Laura weaves cloths of ethereal sonics and visceral lyrics creating beautifully emotive productions anchored by beats and searching soundscapes. Laura released her first self produced LP Playground in May 2017, from which the support gained saw her appear live on BBC 6 in session with Gilles Peterson, with further radio plays on BBC Radio 1 and Jazz FM. This was followed up by the deep and enveloping single ‘Lagoon’ in February 2018 premiered on Toronto based music knowledge hub Music is My Sanctuary; seeing her supporters grow with plays from the likes of Phil Taggart and Jamie Cullum on BBC Radio 1 & 2 alike. After a successful first UK headline tour in February 2018, Laura took her one-woman show across Europe supporting Tom Misch, before stunning a sold out Elgar Room at the Royal Albert Hall in April. The past summer has seen Laura’s name featured in many festival line-ups including End Of The Road, Visions, All Points East, Meadows In The Mountains & Oslo Jazz festival. She then capped this off supporting Texan three-piece Khruangbin in their European tour in October 2018. Early 2019 saw her perform at Eurosonic Sound City and acclaimed performances at SXSW and The Great Escape Festival, followed by a tour supporting Alfa Mist and further festival performances over the summer.
