An amalgamation of early 20’s confusion (secondary pubescence), relentlessly perfected guitar technique and a desire to express it all, Jae Tyler began sheepishly writing at the age of 23. It wasn’t until he learned the art of Ableton Software at 27 that he started making his own recordings. Armed with his new skills and long gestating desire to escape the American juggernaut, J. Tyler moved to Reykjavik, Iceland where he met his now wife, Sigurlaug Gisladottir. Whilst wrestling with the inevitability of his tertiary pubescence, J. Tyler wrote and recorded much of the material now on this debut record “It’s Jae Tyler” between Reykjavik and Berlin over the last one and a half years.
