La productrice et DJ londoniènne Effy a grandi dans le nord-ouest de l’Angleterre en écoutant les sons énergiques de des artistes comme The Chemical Brothers et The Prodigy.
Effy a été nommé l’une des étoiles montantes de Pete Tong et a obtenu un soutien généralisé sur BBC Radio 1 et Radio 6 avec Mary Anne Hobbs. Son premier EP ‘Not What It Semble’ voit Effy entrer dans les sons vers lesquels elle se tourne lorsqu’elle est DJ, ainsi que d’entendre l’influence de Prodigy avec des sons acides, rave et Broken Beat. Elle a jusqu’à présent joué dans des salles et festivals emblématiques tels que Fabric, The Warehouse Project, Amnesia Ibiza, Printworks et Glastonbury.
Le dernier EP d’Effy, « The Highest Level », sorti sur Steel City Dance Discs, a obtenu un soutien général parmi des artistes tels que Pangea, Bicep et a été playlisté sur Radio 6.

London-based producer and DJ Effy grew up in the North West of England listening to the high energy sounds of artists like The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. Effy was named as one of Pete Tong’s Rising Stars and has attained blanket support on BBC Radio 1 & Radio 6 with Mary Anne Hobbs. Her debut EP Not What It Seems sees Effy stepping into the sounds she turns to when she DJs, as well as hearing that Prodigy influence with acid, rave and broken beat sounds. She has so far played across some iconic venues and festivals such as Fabric, The Warehouse Project, Amnesia Ibiza, Printworks and Glastonbury.
