Cheveux blonds platine, tenues colorées à l’image de sa techno groovy aux sonorités house, le prince écossais à l’ascension fulgurante ne laisse personne indifférent. Toute droit venue de Glasgow, la vibe Denis Sulta s’abbat sur le continent, propageant son énergie unique et inébranlable. Influencé par Jackmaster ou Four Tet dont il reçoit désormais le soutien, le jeune phénomène a hérité de toute leur impétuosité et leur audace. Appliquant à la lettre le dicton “si la techno ne va pas à toi, va à la techno”, celui qui organisait ses propres afters afin de pouvoir y mixer, puis qui s’initiait à la composition dans le disquaire shop où il bossait, représente aujourd’hui la marque Sulta Selects.

Sulta Selects, ce n’est pas seulement un label sur lequel il signe ses propres productions, mais également la garantie de soirées et de festivals réussis, ayant lieu dans de prestigieux sites patrimoniaux du royaume brittish. S’il y accueille aujourd’hui les plus grands, de Seth Troxler à Virginia, c’est au tour d’Astropolis de l’inviter cet été dans La Cour enchanteresse du Manoir de Keroual. Paré à la conquête des dancefloors, c’est à coup de house, techno, édits disco, et d’une bonne dose de classiques que l’excentrique Denis Sulta orchestre des fêtes folles où chacun y trouve son compte.

Denis Sulta has rapidly emerged as one of the most exciting new prospects from the ever-fertile Glasgow scene. His unique sound has been carefully crafted having earned his stripes and a large part of his musical education and knowledge through working at the internationally renowned Rubadub record store, whilst holding down regular and ongoing sets at the world famous Sub Club. Having honed his craft under the guidance of some of the most respected local selectors, DJs and producers, Denis Sulta has garnered multiple releases with his early signing to Dixon Avenue Basement Jams in 2014. Since then he has showed his dominating abilities within the electronic music industry noted by his opulent and punchy releases on Numbers and most recently his own imprint, Sulta Selects.

Sulta’s meticulous and diverse approach to dance music has seen his stand out capabilities reach unbelievable new heights for someone still so young. Continued praise and support from fellow DJs and producers such as Jackmaster, Skream, Four Tet, and Optimo have aided Denis Sulta, and ultimately, his incredible hard work has allowed him to play alongside and work on projects for Annie Mac both at Radio 1 and at the legendary Space, Ibiza. The prodigal producer has successfully graduated from the Red Bull Music Academy in Montreal with his records playing on the radio and in nightclubs the world over. To end out 2016 Denis Sulta skyrocketed in at #26 on the RA Top 100 Poll, becoming the highest new entry that year, and if rumour has it, also ever. It is undeniably clear to see that there is no slowing down for the illustrious Mr Sulta.
