Loving
Sur leur nouvel album Any Light, le duo canadien Loving partage une série de chansons nées de moments d’inspiration fortuite : un poème improvisé, une note vocale oubliée, un livre trouvé par hasard dans leur studio. Jesse Henderson et David Parry ont laissé ces morceaux évoluer librement, parfois à travers plusieurs versions différentes, jusqu’à en trouver la forme définitive. L’album, enregistré sur l’île de Vancouver, développe une palette sonore plus large que leurs précédents projets, avec orgue, vibraphone, cuivres et cordes, tout en conservant l’introspection et la chaleur qui leur sont propres.

On their new album Any Light, Canadian duo Loving share a collection of songs born from moments of serendipitous inspiration: an improvised poem, a long-forgotten voice memo, a book stumbled upon in their studio. Jesse Henderson and David Parry let these pieces evolve freely, sometimes through several distinct versions, until they found their final form. Recorded on Vancouver Island, the album expands the band’s sonic palette with organ, vibraphone, brass, and strings, while preserving the introspection and warmth that have always defined their music.
