En 2011, alors qu’il était déjà occupé de tous côtés par les albums de The Rapture ou Phoenix, le producteur star (qui a gagné un Grammy Award pour Wolgang Amadeus Phoenix) Philippe Zdar, moitié de Cassius, criait sur tous les toits qu’il bossait avec un jeune Anglais inconnu au talent fou. Début 2012 on découvrait Adam Bainbridge, alias Kindness et son premier album World, You Need a Change of Mind, petite bombe funk qui nous avait bien dégourdi les jambes. Le jeune homme, qui a aussi réalisé des clips pour Grizzly Bear ou son grand copain Devonte Hynes/Blood Orange, sortira son deuxième album juste avant le festival et a pour l’occasion vu les choses en grand, avec des guests de choix, notamment ce même Devonte Hynes et la diva pop suédoise Robyn. Entre funk incendiaire et R&B hyper-sensuel, Bainbridge dévoilera la teneur live d’un deuxième album sur lequel on retrouve aussi Kelela.
